Bud’s team also does annual reviews and enhancements on existing courses making sure that I-CAR’s curriculum is fresh and up-to-date. This team has a diverse background of skills and experience and strives to create the industry’s most engaging, informative, accessible and relevant training. After attending Wyoming Tech he began a career as a technician and moved into shop management. For several years, Bud managed a collision network then transitioned to a regional management position overseeing collision network auditors and field appraisers. Bud also spend a considerable portion of his career leading a large group of shops across multiple states with MSO’s. Bud’s extensive experience also includes time working in the insurance segment as an appraiser and as a Material Damage Manager overseeing a group of auditors and field appraisers. HIGHLIGHTS Bud is Chairman of the CIC Talent Pool and Education Committee. He is also a member of the Emerging Technology committee. Our mutual customer is counting on us. When we put our families in the vehicle, we are depending on the vehicle we’re in to be safe – especially in the event of an accident when we need it most. The construction materials, joining techniques, and emerging technologies like ADAS and EV are constantly changing. As a result, the need for training and continuing education is more important than ever. He also identifies specifications and requirements based on technical needs and ensuring they are met in the final product. Early in his career he had the opportunity to paint vehicles and perform mechanical work, including suspension diagnosis and alignments. Over the last five years, Jason became more involved in the estimating and repair planning processes at a shop where he worked as the Production Manager. When new courses or course updates are identified, she manages detailed project plans from implementation to execution including quality testing for I-CAR developed and delivered courses to verify a smooth user experience. Her top priority is to collaborate with teams and stakeholders of the collision repair industry to ensure quality throughout the development process. HIGHLIGHTS Facilitated I-CAR’s course portfolio overhaul project from PDP 1.0 to 2.0 to keep pace with vehicle technology advancements. From classic cars to modern foreign and domestic automobiles, TJ has experience in restoration and collision repair facilities as a structural, refinish, and non-structural technician. He moved to office roles when he became an estimator and was most recently a shop manager. HIGHLIGHTS The culmination of knowledge to now guide the industry as a Subject Matter Expert at I-CAR.
