Platinum™ Individual Nomination Form for Performance Year 2022
Purpose
Mr. Jeff Silver was one of the forefathers of what today is the industry’s standard for training excellence: the I-CAR® Gold Class® designation for shops and the Platinum recognition for individuals. In his service as I-CAR’s CEO from 1985 through 1996, he guided I-CAR through precarious times to become the industry’s leading provider of educational programming and technical services. Later in his life, he maintained Platinum recognition when he and his wife Jeanne operated an Illinois CARSTAR shop that reached its 25-year Gold Class anniversary. He is remembered with this award that honors individuals who, as he did, embody a true passion for training and professional growth.
Eligibility
This award will be bestowed upon a select individual that meets the following requirements:

I-CAR staff, I-CAR Executive Committee, I-CAR Board of Directors, and/or other collision repair industry representatives will select the recipient.
Presentation of Award
The award will be presented during 2023 SEMA Week in Las Vegas, on Wednesday, November 1, at the Collision Industry Red Carpet Breakfast, 7-9am.

Eligibility
This award will be bestowed upon a select individual that meets the following requirements:
- Holds a long term (defined as at least five consecutive years) I-CAR Platinum Individual designation
- Trains beyond the minimum requirement to maintain the designation
- Available for a member of any industry segment that meets criteria
- Please note all current I-CAR employees are not eligible to earn this award. This includes I-CAR full-time and part-time instructors.
