Location Level Training

PDP150x111-(1).pngLocation Level courses may be completed by one or more technicians on a shop’s roster and is required for shops to achieve or maintain Gold Class recognition.

Location Level courses prepare technicians at the shop with the knowledge needed to understand modern vehicles, which may significantly impact a complete, safe and quality repair.

Even if the repair is outsourced, a general understanding of the work involved is essential. Current location level courses include electrical/diagnostics and mechanical theory courses.

Required Location Level Courses

A technician in the Electrical/Diagnostics role diagnoses, calibrates and repairs collision-related electrical component damage.

A technician in the Mechanical role diagnoses and repairs collision-related mechanical damage.

Both roles are optional, but the knowledge and skills acquired in the role support Location Level training requirements.
