I-CAR Gold Class® designation is one of the basic knowledge-and-skill options for qualifying in the Honda & Acura Certified Collision program. Gold Class shops may improve operational efficiency, reduce cycle time, minimise errors and—most importantly—complete safe repairs.

The program is open to both dealer-owned and independent collision repair facilities.

Honda Network Requirements

All Honda-certified shops must register for and complete the following:

One person in each of the three roles below must complete all Honda required courses. One person cannot cover multiple roles. Staffing options:

  1. At least two structural technicians and one estimator
  2. At least one structural, one non-structural technician and one estimator

Additional requirements include CSI system, tools & equipment, facility standards and shop inspections.

Electric Vehicle (EV) Courses

Honda offers an EV Certification Enhancement. One structural or non-structural technician who is already fulfilling standard network requirements must complete the following EV courses.
