Ford Training

The Ford Certified Collision Network (FCCN) requires facilities to obtain and maintain the I-CAR® Gold Class® designation. The I-CAR Gold Class designation ensures that professionals are trained to have the knowledge and skills required to provide customers with efficient, safe and high‐quality.

Ford Motor Company relies on I-CAR to make certain specific training programs available to collision repair technicians, as listed below. The programs listed below are the only training programs available through I-CAR that have been reviewed and approved by Ford Motor Company.

Ford Network Requirements

A minimum of one technician per shop location is required to take each of these courses as part of the Ford Certified Collision Network requirements.

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Courses

In a continuous effort to provide FCCN centers with the tools, training and information needed, Ford is requiring an ADAS Certification. The following courses are requirements for the FCCN ADAS Certification. For an FCCN facility to be certified, one technician from the center must complete each of the online and the two-day Hands-On course.

A minimum of one technician per location is required to take all of the required courses below to be part of the Ford Certified Collision Network.

Packaged Courses

ADAS packages, which include required courses, are available for your enrollment convenience.

Two-Day Hands-On Course

In a real-world shop environment, you will use Ford Service Information (PTS) and Ford Diagnostic & Repair System (FDRS) to identify, investigate, diagnose, and repair various ADAS on Ford vehicles.

Electric Vehicle (EV) Courses

Ford announced electric vehicle course requirements to support the complete, safe and quality repair of new Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV) and Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) models.

A minimum of one technician per location is required to take all of the required courses below to be part of the Ford Certified Collision Network.

Ford Electric Vehicle (EV) Course Package

A Ford Electric Vehicle (EV) Course Package is available now, which includes all 8 required courses.
