I-CAR presents honors for exceptional contributions to the collision repair industry

I-CAR® announced the winners of its annual I-CAR Awards, which recognize individuals who have made outstanding contributions to advancing the training and professionalism of the collision repair industry. The winners were revealed on Nov. 2 at a ceremony in the Paradise Ballroom at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino during the annual SEMA Show.
The Russ Verona Award, which honors a business that actively promotes training and a positive image for the industry was awarded to Precision Unlimited Car Care of Clinton, New York. Owner Brad Czerkies was chosen for Precision Unlimited Car Care’s commitment to training, their commitment to supporting I-CAR and their work in the community including support of a program that transitions high school students to careers, and civic engagement through organizations like the Boy Scouts of America, the Make-A-Wish Foundation and an organization called Girls, Inc., that helps young girls learn the basics about cars.
Precision Car Care has been a Gold Class® recognized shop for 23 years.
The Jeff Silver Award, which honors an individual who demonstrates true passion for training and professional growth, was awarded to Jerry Dalton, of Dalton Collision in Knoxville, Tenn. Dalton has actively been an ambassador of professionalism and training for the industry. He is the chairman of the Knoxville I-CAR committee and demonstrates his commitment to education by serving on the collision board at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology. Dalton Collision has held Gold Class recognition longer than any other collision repair shop in the state of Tennessee.
