We journeyed through the COVID-19 Pandemic together. Navigating furloughs, layoffs, shortages, and travel restrictions, we remained connected to ensure all learners continued to have access to knowledge and skills by ensuring optimal playability of online courses, converting all live courses to virtual formats, scheduling more virtual courses than ever, and adjusting to individual state requirements to deliver invaluable instructor-led training for Hands-On Skills Development and Welding Training and Certification courses. 

As you may also be experiencing, we are still adjusting to existing challenges persisting through the pandemic. We recently underwent a critical analysis to ensure I-CAR’s team, systems, educational programming, and technical services are stronger than ever to serve you to the best of our ability. To make sure we continue to ‘support every’ in the collision repair industry.  

To that end, we see you and that prior to a pandemic you stood with I-CAR to raise the knowledge and skills bar in preparation for the Technical Tsunami™ our industry is facing. We see that you have worked to keep up with training requirements over the years. We also see that we need to do better to support you and the current challenges you may be facing, to help you reach each goal line so you can thrive in your career and perform complete, safe, and quality repairs for the customers you serve.  

Therefore, the team at I-CAR, with the support of our industry collaborators, is reinstating Platinum recognition for individuals who were impacted by all the above-mentioned restrictions. You earned it. We want to make sure your achievement is not affected by the pandemic, and we recognize its importance to your career path.
