For the first time in many years, I-CAR® exhibited at theNADA (National Automobile Dealers Association) Show, one of the auto industry’s most prominent events. This year’s show was held March 22-25 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

NADA attracted more than 24,000 visitors and 500 exhibitors in 700,000+ sq. ft. of space. Attendees included sales managers, finance and insurance directors, service managers and parts managers.

I-CAR returned to the NADA Show with a 20- by 20-ft. booth in order to maintain strong relationships with our OEM (original equipment manufacturer) partners and begin developing relationships with auto dealers who operate collision repair shops. Having a dedicated booth enabled us to meet face-to-face with OEMs to reinforce the value our programs deliver to them. We also utilized our booth to introduce I-CAR to dealers attending NADA and promote the business value of training and the return on investment it can give them.

Our efforts were quite successful, as we were able to initiate conversations with more than 20 dealers and OEMs. We also met with dealers seeking to participate in OEM-certified programs and had many discussions about In-Shop Knowledge Assessment™, Gold ClassÒrecognition and collision repair training with visitors to the I-CAR booth.

Next year’s NADA Show will be held from January 24-27, 2019 in San Francisco, California. To learn more about the NADA show, click here.
