I-CAR® (Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair) today announced the continued expansion of its Vehicle and Technology Specific Training™ (VTST) curriculum, with the launch of three new courses.
The three (3) new online courses bring I-CAR’s total VTST course portfolio to 51, with more courses expected to be added this year as the complexity of today’s advanced vehicles require more specialized repair techniques than ever before.
The three new courses, each of which counts toward annual Gold Class® and Platinum™ training requirements are as follows:
- Car-O-Liner CMI300 PulseTrio – GMA Welder Operation and Tuning is a one-hour course that introduces the settings, functions, adjustments, and advanced tuning techniques for the CMI300 PulseTrio.
- Chief MultiMig 525 – GMA Welder Operation and Tuning is an online, one-hour course that introduces the settings, functions, adjustments, and advanced tuning techniques for the Chief 525.
- Portable Measuring Systems for Damage Analysis – this is a half-hour course that highlights the benefits of using portable 3D measuring technology during the discovery phase of damage analysis. From setup to documentation, this course provides a portable measuring systems overview to produce accurate estimates. Students are also introduced to the tools and equipment available for measuring collision damage during the initial estimate phase.
